With a diverse population and a variety of individual neighborhoods, Philadelphia has a wide array of housing opportunities. There are some areas that seem to be popular for young executives while other areas play home to the “rich and famous” of the area. Housing costs are not nearly as expensive as in some areas of the country, though there are a number of multi-million dollar homes, including several for sale at any given time. The area’s population of Fortune 500 Companies, the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania and local law schools have created a demand on upper-scale homes.
